Double-rifle by W. J. Jeffrey & Co., St. James, London. 9.3x74 rimmed caliber (Roughly equivalent to .375), 23-3/4” barrels, 40-1/2” overall. The barrels show five-leaf rear sights, graduated from 100 to 500 yards. The frame is nicely engraved with tigers and game scenes. The rifle shows a boxlock action, double set triggers, high quality British workmanship throughout. The barrels have been nicely refinished and restored.95-98% of this blue remains. The frame has been lightly polished to bright. The engraving is fully visible, stocks also have been refinished and recheckered and are very good plus as restored. The bores are at least very good. The gun locks tight and is ready to hunt. The stock measures 14” to the end of the wood, 15-1/4” to the end of the pad. The gun weighs approx. 9.6lbs. A good rifle by a major maker in a great caliber. Serial#23490. Est: $6,000 - $12,000
