A) Manufactured in 1914, the slide has the standard fixed sights and is marked on the left side with the two-line Colt address and patent markings with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations and on the right side "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE .380 HAMMERLESS". The rear of the slide and frame are marked on the left with the English "crown/V" and on the rear of the slide and frame on the right side with English "crown/P" proofs. The barrel is marked on the chamber with the "crown/V" and "crown/P" proofs along with the English export marking "NP/6 TONS/.680". The pistol is fitted with the original hard rubber grips with the Colt banner at the top and the uncircled Rampant Colts at the bottom. It has the original blue finish magazine marked on the base "CAL.380/COLT". The pistols are complete with a contemporary walnut display case with fitted green felt lined interior and one extra original Colt two-tone finish magazine marked on the base "CALIBRE .380".

Condition: Very fine with 90% original blue finish, showing extensive scratches and small dings overall with sharp edge wear. The grips are very fine showing some light handling marks with well defined checkering and detail. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with pleasing grain patterns with small dings and light scratches overall with evidence of removed felt and a split in the wooden bottom.
