A) Manufactured in 1959, this is an excellent example of two consecutively serialized early Second Generation Single Action Armies. The accompanying Colt factory order #9555 for two Colt Single Action Army revolvers verifies the back strap engraving, caliber, barrel length, nickel finish and consecutively serial numbering of this lot. The barrel has the one line address on the top and the left side is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45". The left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent date marking with an un-circled Rampant Colt. The back strap is factory engraved "KEN SCHEIBEL". The trigger guard is marked with the Colt "VP" triangle proof and letter "P" on left side and the right front is marked with a number "5". Matching numbers on the frame and under the grip on the left side of the front and back straps. Fitted with smooth two-piece pearl grips featuring silver Colt medallions. Complete with the original black hinged lid box numbered to the gun, original waxed paper and papers.
