Diminutive tinder-lighter showing excellent quality signed Martin Reynold (probably French), late 18th to early 19th century. Body measures approx. 3” from end to end. Outside spring mechanism with thumb-releaselever, folding carrying ring. Body is nicely engraved and shows chiseling at front around frizzen in form of bird-head. Carrying ring is mounted at bottom and swivels. Condition is good to very good with some lightcleaning, small parts retained. From the Keith Coulter collection. Est: $750 - $1,500
