Desirable Remington U.S. Property-marked Model 513T Matchmaster bolt-action rifle, .22LR cal., 26-3/4” round barrel, military finish (and so factory stamped on the top of the barrel), scope mounts, steel butt plate,heavy wood target stock, #75392. This gun is in overall excellent condition showing the majority of its military finish with a couple of wear areas on the top of the barrel toward the muzzle that show spots of old cold blue applied; bore should clean to very good or better, action is crisp, markings are very good, stock is very good with just a couple of small mars from storage and the number “041” stamped on the upper left sideof the butt stock and “P” proof in front of the semi-pistol grip; rear sling eyelet missing, front adjustable sling swivel base present but missing swivel. Magazine is present and stamped “R” on its floor plate.These training rifles were reportedly produced under government contract between 1942 and 1944. Est.: $400-$600.
