Made expressly for export to the United States to increase sales of Luger pistols by DWM. Chamber marked with the large American Eagle crest and the DWM logo on the toggle. The front of the frame is marked with the commercial serial number over "GERMANY". The extractor is marked "LOADED", and has a polished lower safety position. Fixed sights, straw colored small parts, unmarked replacement plated magazine with a wooden bottom stamped "GERMANY" and fitted with checkered walnut grips stamped "24" and crown proofed on the inside of each panel.

Condition: Fine as partially refinished, with 40% faded original blue finish overall with cold blue on the grip straps, side plate, and left frame which now has a gray/brown patina, with muzzle and high edge wear, thinning on the side plate and left side of the frame, and a smooth mottled gray and brown patina on the grip straps. The small parts have 25% of the original straw colors. The grips are very good with high point wear overall with some refreshing on the left side. The markings are clear. The hold open needs adjustment, otherwise the action functions properly.
