This is a late WWII M1 Carbine as manufactured by Winchester that was subsequently converted to the fully automatic M2 configuration. This carbine was originally produced in late 1944/early 1945 and still retains some of the early WWII parts. It has the standard Winchester M1 Carbine receiver markings with the original Winchester barrel, Winchester marked stock, and type II barrel band. It has a later "SA" marked M2 trigger housing with "INLAND" mark on the side, round bolt and M2 hammer, with the stock being field modified for use with the M2 components. The selector switch is properly marked with a single "A", on the side, with the sear trip lever marked "TM". This carbine is complete with a reproduction green canvas carrying bag and four extra magazines.

Condition: Very good overall 65% of the original parkerized finish remaining showing even honest wear overall. The stock and handguard both show considerable use with considerable handling marks and light pressure dents overall.
