Day’s patent style percussion cane gun with painted metal body to resemble wood and stag horn grip scrimshawed with crown and initial “B”. The cane measures 36” overall of approx 60 cal smooth bore. The painted finish is95% intact with some minor scratches, slight cracking type patina to the paint. The arm shows British proofs and would date about 1850-1860’s.
