Included in this lot we have a original framed Dau-Law- Taine Kiowa Native American painting originating from 1999. Darwin Tsoodle Kiowa (Dau-Law-Taine) is an Native American artist born in Anadarko, Oklahoma and is known for his depictions of Native American Braves on horseback. The painting depicts a older Indian man as he kneels in the snowy ground as he wraps himself in a blanket. The background shows a set of jagged snow covered peaks rising in the distance and the full moon overhead. The figure shows white hair with the blanket showing blue, yellow, red, and green. The art shows wonderful use of color and excellent style. The piece is signed in the bottom right hand corner reading "Dau-Law-Taine Kiowa-Kiowaapache C99". The piece is set into a custom wooden frame with a light tan border around the art. The painting shows good condition overall with some light wear on the frame. The frame measures 20 3/4" wide by 24 1/2" tall with the art measuring 15 1/2" wide by 19 1/2" tall.
