This is a scarce 9mm chamber example of a 1923 commercial Luger with a blank chamber and DWM monogram on the front toggle. Commercial "Crown/N" proofs on the toggle, barrel, and barrel extension. Correct five digit serial number with no letter prefix. Visible numbers on the pistol match except the magazine. Straw colored small parts, blue magazine with "4472/r" number aluminum bottom and fitted with un-numbered checkered walnut grips.

Condition: Fine. The pistol retains 60% faded thin original blue finish with muzzle and high edge wear, overall thinning, some minor pitting on the muzzle and right side of the barrel extension, and some scattered minor to moderate oxidation, heaviest on the grip frame. The small parts retain 30% straw color with the balance having turned to a smooth mottled grayish patina. The grips are fine showing light wear across the tops of the checkering with a few scattered minor nicks and dings. Clear markings. Mechanically excellent.
