This is an example of a First Issue Model 1908 Military Luger pistol that has had the hold open device installed. This specific model has three Crown over a Script letter proofs, on the left side of the barrel extension along with an Imperial eagle proof on the barrel extension and barrel, with a blank chamber area and standard "DWM" monogram on the front toggle. The rest of the pistol has NO markings anywhere except for the front grip strap which still retains the unit markings of "104.R.7". It has the rust blued finish, with straw colored small parts with checkered walnut grips.

Condition: Refinished overall with traces of the original blue finish present mixed with cold blue and 20% of the original straw colors remaining. The grip are also in very good condition with nice checkering on both sides with no cracks, chips or damage. The wooden base on the magazine does have a small crack through the center of it. It has all matching numbers except the grips and wooden base on the magazine both of which are unnumbered. Mechanically excellent.
