Customized Winchester Model 1885 single shot rifle (high wall), re-bored to .45-70 caliber (breech end of barrel marked “.40-65 WCF), 30” octagon barrel, blue finish, checkered butt stock with steel shotgun butt plate;light non-factory engraved borders on both sides of receiver with a dog’s head on each side, #22904. This gun is in overall good condition as customized showing a brown patina on metal surfaces with some scatteredspots of erosion, very good bore, crisp action, later adjustable vernier tang sight and hooded front sight with filler blank in rear barrel dovetail. Buyer pays all cost of materials, handling, packing etc. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
