Custom rifle on model 30 Remington Express action in .460 Weatherby Magnum caliber by Pachmayr of Los Angeles. Serial #16164. The rifle shows a 24-1/2” barrel, is 45-1/2” overall. The barrel is compensated and themetal shows matte blue finish. Two-leaf folding rear sight, ramp front sight. The rifle is stocked in select checkered walnut with fine grain and fancy checkering. A hinged door in the pistol grip cap for smallparts. Action is engine turned and trigger worked, as is the bolt handle. The condition is near excellent showing just minor use, 98-99%. The rifle measures 45-1/2” overall with 24-1/2” barrel. Stock measures 13-3/4”to the end of the wood, 14-3/4” to the end of the pad. Frank Pachmayr supervised and personally made many guns for Mr. Robert Petersen and both liked the Remington express action. From the Robert Petersen collection. Est: $1,750 - $3,500
