Custom one-of-a-kind 1874 Sharps exhibition grade rifle made by Dave Garman former owner of Arcadia Sharps and considered his finest work. The rifle it is caliber in .45-120 caliber and is serial numbered custom 1. Therifle shows a 34” heavyweight octagon barrel is 50 ½” overall and weighs approximately 12.5 lbs . The receiver and lock are scroll and panel engraved showing a portrait of Buffalo on right side and elk on left. Therifle shows Sharps Rifle Company style markings and is finally finished in an antique blue and color case hardening. The gun is stocked in select walnut with pistol grip in Sharps antique style showing aHartford type pewter forend cap. The butt shows a milled steel Sharps style butt plate and the barrel is marked with Old Reliable and Sharps style antiqued markings. The tang is mounted with a long-range veneer styletang sight and a spirit level target grade front sight. The condition is fine to excellent and shows virtually no use just test fire, 99% to mint.
