The back strap and trigger guard have the same floral scroll design with a scallop border. The hammer sides and cylinder flats have floral scroll with a flower and a zigzag "V" alternating on the flats. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .38 SPECIAL" on the left, both in a panel, the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt.
