Continental made Adams patent engraved double action revolver remaining in fine to near excellent original condition with English style partitioned case. The revolver measures 13 ½” overall with 6 and nearly ½” barrel ofapproximately .44 caliber. The revolver is nicely engraved with hand cut Adams patent in block letters on top of the frame. There is an absence of proofs or patent stamps. This subject pistol retains 95% to 98% original bright blue finishtoning just slightly with a minimal amount of aging. The hammer and trigger show most of their original bright polish and the nipples all show the original finish. The interior of the bore is fine to excellent and still very bright. ThisAdams style pistol has seen very little to almost no use. The arm is contained within a green baize or felt lined case which is also in fine to near excellent condition with just some minor discoloration and minimal aging. The case contains a bag shape flask in near fine condition, screwdriver, nipple wrench, correct size mold with correct Adams marking, cap tin, rod and tin accessory box made for this case along with a original compartment lid cover.
