Continental dueling/target pistol converted from flintlock to percussion signed “F. Ulrich in Bern” on lock and barrel. The pistol measures 13-1/2” overall, 8-1/4” medium weight octagon barrel of approx. .46caliber with microgroove straight rifling. The pistol shows adjustable set trigger and full stock. The metal surfaces are in good condition showing traces of brown and case hardening, some minor erosion and pinprickpitting. The lock and barrel are nicely signed. The stock is good with some small areas of losses around the tang, behind the hammer. Some even wear to the checkering, but generally good. An original typebrass-tipped metal ramrod is included. An attractive pistol by a well-known Swiss maker. Est: $900 - $1,800
