Connecticut Courant, Hartford, November 11th, 1817 article from a letter, mentioning duel between Col. Benton and Charles Lewis, and mentions a duel between Smith & Tharp From the Robert Orbello collection. The Benton/Lewis duel is published in the book Famous American Duels by Don. C Seitz. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
