Composite swept hilt rapier in the style of the 17th century, showing good quality forging and metal work. Blade is probably original to the period. Guard also appears to be period. Pommel and wrap most likelyVictorian. The blade measures approx. 32”, approx. 38-1/2” overall and was probably originally 6” longer. A good looking rapier which appears completely genuine until closely examined and is all antique. Est:$1,000 - $2,000
