Colt model 1911, .45 ACP caliber, semiautomatic pistol, US Navy marked on slide with government property markings and in range issued to Marine Corps. Serial #84136. The Colt remains in fine to excellentoriginal condition with 96% original blue, some slight thinning at the edges, some slight scratches, slight thinning at straps, but generally near excellent overall with just beginning age. The breech end of thebarrel shows some slight scratches and operation marks. The small parts show most of their bright original finish. The grips are fine to near excellent. The markings sharp and crisp. The pistol has seen little use and the bore is bright. An original two-tone lanyard bottom magazine is included. A top specimen with just a very small amount of loss to the original finish and a difficult 1911 to obtain in high condition. Est: $4,000-8000
