Colt model 1903 pocket hammerless .32 caliber semi-automatic pistol, early productions, 4” barrel, blued finish, factory engraved, pearl grips, sold to Colman Mullens, & Co, shipped to Janney Semple Hill & Co, Minneapolis, MN, 1906, one gun I shipment, serial #49687, with letter. The pistol remains in fine original condition with 90-95% original bright mirror blue finish just slightly drifting at the edges and rubbing areas. The engraving is very high quality and we would attribute the scrolls to Helfricht and there is an unusual flower which appears to be a daisy just in back of the front sight. The markings are sharp, the edges are crisp, the original to the period iridescent pearl grips are fat and show fine color and match the pistol well with just some minor losses and handling. The small parts and springs show bright original blue finish as does the plunger and barrel bushing. The interior is fine to excellent and the Colt is near excellent overall. An exceptional example of an early pocket Colt with barrel bushing. Est: $7,500 - $15,000
