Colt model 1883 special order 12ga 2-barrel set, in near fine original condition, serial #7939. The #1 barrels measure 30-1/4” with brown Damascus pattern and concave rib that is factory matte finished, choked ImprovedModified (right) and Modified (left). The 2nd set of barrels measure 28-1/8” in length, matching brown finish with concave raised rib with matte finish, choked Improved Cylinder (right) and Modified (left). Second set ofbarrels shows matching serial number and its own matching forend. The longer barrels remain in fine to near excellent condition with 90-95% of its original patterning, just some slight darkening and beginning age, butornate and vivid pattern. The frame shows 80-90% original case hardening dulling slightly but still very colorful and vivid areas, slightly stronger on right than left. The stocks are very good plus and of selectquality, show good checkering, some minor storage marks, scratches, handling, and are at least very good overall. The triggerguard shows 80-90% bright original blue, the small parts show most of their original finishes.
