Colt model 1877 Lightning double-action revolver, .38 caliber, 4-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, hard rubber grips, serial #164116. Made towards the end of production range, post 1898. The revolvershows 50-70% blue and case hardened finish with some erosion and pinprick pitting and light cleaning long ago. The marking s are good and sharp, the edges are crisp, some areas of vivid blue and case hardening. Thegrips are very good, the markings are sharp, the action is good, the bore is bright. Shows late and large front sight. Est: $700 - $1,400
