Colt model 1860 Army revolver, .44 caliber percussion, 8” barrel, brown patina finish, traces of cartoche on wood grips, patina finish, serial #145598. The revolver remains in good condition showing a light grey tobrown patina finish, some light to moderate erosion and pinprick pitting, good barrel address and frame markings, faint traces of cylinder scene. All matching serial numbers. The front sight has been slimmed. The wedgeand wedge screw are replacements. One of the nipples is partially broken. The ramrod catch is a well-made replacement and the ramrod has been cleaned and browned slightly. The grips are good with a faint outline of acartouche at each bottom. The action is good, bore is fair. A good 1860 army with a small amount of acceptable restoration. Est: $1,250 - $2,500
