Colt model 1849 pocket model, .31 caliber percussion, blue and case hardened finish, varnished wood grips, with original holster, serial #75620 showing small triggerguard, two-line New York address, five-shotcylinder. The barrel shows 40-60% original blue, evenly thinning and toning, with some erosion and pinprick pitting, mostly on the right side from being carried in this holster. The cylinder shows 60-80% cylinderscene, some light cleaning to grey and some scattered light to moderate pitting and a few small areas of heavier pitting. The frame, hammer, and loading lever show 30-50% case hardening with some good colors, also lightto moderate pitting and some slightly heavier pitting on a few areas located at the right side of the frame. The grips are good to very good with even wear, traces of varnish, small nicks, minor imperfections, and normalcarry and wear. Good markings, good action, all matching visible serial numbers, with good condition period flap holster which is form-fitted to this Pocket.
