Colt U.S. martially-marked SAA Cavalry Model revolver, .45 cal., 7-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #137038. This gun is in overall very good condition showing traces of blue in protected areaswith balance of gun gone to a brown patina, good bore, very good markings, very good action, matching serial numbers including barrel with cylinder re-numbered; R.A.C. inspected; good grips that show wear and four notches in the left grip with an old mar below the notches; three old notches also marked on right side of trigger guard. This gun is accompanied by an old factory letter dated march 16, 1970 indicating gun delivered to the Government Inspector at the Colt factory on December 31, 1890, 50 guns in order.
