Colt U.S. martially-marked SAA Artillery Model revolver, .45 cal., 5-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #2463 (#131887 on trigger guard, #8445 on cylinder that is R.A.C. inspected and no number onbackstrap). This gun is in overall very good + condition showing considerable arsenal re-blue on barrel assembly and cylinder with ample traces of case color on the frame and hammer; bore is very good, action is crispand grips are very good with R.A.C. inspector marks on butt of left grip; no visible inspector’s cartouches on the grips. This gun is accompanied by a Colt factory letter indicating shipment to the Springfield Armory on December 13, 1900, 100 guns in shipment with the following remarks: “The original records pertaining to this revolver were lost or destroyed many years ago. However, our records do indicate the return o0f thisrevolver for refurbishing and subsequent reshipment as noted above. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
