Colt U.S. Navy Model 1901 DA revolver, .38 cal., 6” barrel, blue finish, checkered hard rubber grips, #190454 in overall very good + condition showing approx. 35% original finish, with balance gone to a brown patina with some spots of erosion, traces of niter blue on trigger and hammer, very good + bore, crisp action and markings including U.S.N. and anchor on butt strap with inspector’s initials and triangle around B; also 5-point star around letter I on cylinder release, back of cylinder and front left bow of trigger guard; very good grips.
