Colt U.S. Artillery Model SAA revolver, .45 cal., 5-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #49914 (“H.N.” inspected); trigger guard is #11421 (“A” inspected); backstrap is #7375 (“A” inspected); cylinder is #7501 (“J” inspected);barrel is __06 (“A” inspected); cartouche on left grip is visible and appears to be “OWA”. This gun is in overall very good condition showing considerable muted blue on the barrel, blue on the ejector rod housing and blue in protected areasof the backstrap; considerable case color in the protected areas of the front of the frame with muted hints of color on other areas of the frame and on the hammer; the bore is very good, the action is crisp and the markings are also verygood with italicized barrel address; the grips are very good with a couple small old nicks and mars from carry and storage.
