Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial #98759, originally black powder, converted to .22 rimfire, barrel shortened to 4-3/4”. Barrel turned down, rib added, chrome plated, select wood grips, target sights. Consignorstates conversion was done by Sedgley, however there were two excellent gunsmiths who did this type of work in Texas in the 1950’s era. The revolver has been chrome plated, target sighted, and is in nearexcellent condition since its conversion other than marks on the bottom of the barrel. 90% of restored finish.
