Colt Single Action Army revolver, pre-war/post-war .38 Special cal., 5-1/2" barrel, blue and case hardened finish, hard rubber grips, charged to Arms Selling Expense, shipped to Mr. Graham Anthony,President, Colt Mfg. Co., Hartford, CT for Mr. Charles B. Cook on May 25 1949, one gun in shipment; under remarks the letter states Mr. Cook was an executive of Royal Typewriter Co. located in Hartford, CT at this time.All features confirmed by factory letter. The revolver remains in its original pre-war style oxblood colored box with correct end label, serial numbered target, shooting suggestions and cleaning rod. The revolverremains in fine to excellent original condition showing 90-99%+ original blue and case hardening, just a hint of wear at the edges and slight index line from possible minor use. The box shows correct end labeland grease pencil number on bottom; the box shows just a few tatters and minor wear. With factory letter and collectors information on this pistol. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
