Colt Single Action Army revolver, pre-war/post-war .38 Special cal., 5-1/2" barrel, blue and case hardened finish, hard rubber grips, charged to Arms Selling Expense, shipped to Mr. Graham Anthony,President, Colt Mfg. Co., Hartford, CT for Mr. Charles B. Cook on May 25 1949, one gun in shipment; under remarks the letter states Mr. Cook was an executive of Royal Typewriter Co. located in Hartford, CT at this time.All features confirmed by factory letter. The revolver remains in its original pre-war style oxblood colored box with correct end label, serial numbered target, shooting suggestions and cleaning rod. The revolverremains in fine to excellent original condition showing 90-99%+ original blue and case hardening, just a hint of wear at the edges and slight index line from possible minor use.
