Colt Single Action Army revolver in .41 Colt caliber with 4 ¾” barrel, re-nickeled finish, simulated Pearl grips, serial number 322932. The revolver has been heavily polished and the barrel address and caliber markings removed with patent dates and Colt logo barely visible. The front sight is nearly its full height and all matching visible serial numbers. The action is good but the bore is slightly rough. This Colt along with holster rig and belt, quick change Chaps where the property of Jack Jones alias Tex Jones who was a performer and movie cowboy in the 1950s. The holster rig is very nicely made and shows the name Tex stamped above the holster on the right side and Jones above the slot for 2nd holster on the left side. Note only one holster is included and this was originally a double rig. The rig is nicely tooled and inlaid with German silver conchos and is of the style very similar to Frazier of Colorado and remains in good condition with two tone trim and conchos on the holster. The holster rig is accompanied by quick change chaps with zippers of the same era. Factory letter confirms barrel length and caliber and originally shipped blue to Simmons Hardware Co.
