Colt Single Action Army revolver early black powder era, serial number 1352 showing italic barrel address and finely engraved by Ernie Lyttle and signed by him beneath trigger guard on interior. This Colt has been fullyprofessionally restored and shows early round front to the frame. Two line patent dates and other very early features. This Colt is very nicely New York style scroll engraved in 19 century motives with a fine treatmentaround the front sight similar to 1876 exhibition engraved Colts. This colt has been nicely polished and real nickel plated with fire blue screws and early black powder cylinder pin and ejector rod head. The pistol is fitted with an excellent pair of ivory grips that are beautifully made and fitted impeccably showing no screw holes. A very attractive engraved colt which re-creates the style of the 1870s very nicely. With factory letter. The bore is bright and overall condition is excellent as restored at time of engraving. This would be a very expensive pistol to re-create at today’s prices probably over $10,000. Est.: $2,750-$5,500
