Colt Single Action Army revolver army revolver, .45 caliber, 4-3/4” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, later replaced yellow stag grips, serial #143109, made 1890’s. The revolver shows 70-80% originalbright blue on barrel, good sharp markings, Front sight slimmed just slightly and nearly its full height. The cylinder shows 30-40% blue with some bright blue in the flutes. The backstrap and triggerguard show 50-60%toning original blue. The frame shows 30-50% case hardening going to smoky grey color with some light colors still visible. The hammer shows 30-50% dulling case hardening. The markings are sharp, the edges are crisp.There is some slight erosion and pinprick pitting, mostly on the cylinder. The action is good, bore is bright. All matching visible serial numbers.
