Colt Single Action Army revolver, Missouri Sesquicentennial 1820-1970, .45 caliber, 5-1/2” barrel. Blue, gold, case hardened finish. Medallion wood grips, serial #P1MOS. With collection tag, “G.A.S. #38” indicating ownership by George A. Strichman, President of Colt Firearms and originally part of the Colt factory collection displayed in their New York City penthouse, subsequently sold to the Gene Autry museum and brokered by Little John’s over a decade ago. In plain cardboard shipping box numbered in pen to match in factory. The pistol is excellent to near new, some slight handling and storage only. No evidence of firing. Serial number 1’s are extremely desirable to collectors. Est: $1,000 - 3000
