Colt Single Action Army revolver, .45 caliber, barrel reduced to 5-1/4” from 7-1/2”. Old replated factory-quality nickel finish, hardrubber eagle grip, serial #95329. The pistol shows the removal of “US” on left side of frame by peening with a punch. The frame shows a “DFC” inspection as does the barrel and cylinder. The backstrap shows a “G” sub-inspection. The “DFC” inspection is upside-down on the front of the frame. Thebutt number is “94329”, exactly 1,000 numbers off and probably a factory mistake. The inside of the triggerguard shows a “3” and ‘punch-dot’. We believe the pin was added for the hardrubber grips which fit impeccably.The front sight has been slimmed, approx. 30% old nickel refinish remains with some pitting and erosion. The front sight has been slimmed about half-way down. The patent markings and barrel address are good. Theaction is working, but half-cock removed. The bore is good. A period hand-made triple-loop western style holster is included. Old factory letter dated 1966 indicate sales to US Government. It is our opinion the pistol
