Colt Single Action Army revolver, .45 caliber, 7-1/2” barrel, traces of blue and case hardened finish, hardrubber grips, serial #96100. Factory letter confirms all features, shipped March 29th, 1886, toHibbard, Spencer & Bartlett, Co. Chicago, IL. 4 guns in shipment. The revolver remains in good to very good condition showing 10-20% original blue, case hardening mostly drifted to grey, some scattered light erosion andpinprick pitting, front sight has been slimmed slightly. Metal surfaces are generally good with good markings. Grips fit impeccably and show just some slight edgewear. All matching visible serialnumbers. Good action, good bore, good overall.
