Colt Single Action Army revolver, .45 caliber, 7-1/2” barrel, factory engraved, nickel finish, medallion pearl grips, serial #129317 showing star marking on rear of right triggerguard bow indicating return to the factory, probably for refinishing and regripping. The revolver shows typical 19th century Colt type deluxe engraving with fancy scrolls and borders, The grips show deep medallions. The grips are close but not a perfect fit and may have been supplied at time of refinishing as they are post-1900. The front sight has been reduced slightly and the screws have been reblued with fire. The action is good, the bore is fair. All matching visible numbers. A good-looking factory engraved single-action that was returned after the turn of the century for refinishing and other work. No factory letter available at time of cataloging.
