Colt Single Action Army revolver, .45 caliber, 5-1/2” barrel, factory nickel finish, old aged stag horn grips, shipped to Wolf & Klar, Ft. Worth, TZ, February 6th, 1926, to order #2106/10, four guns inshipment. Serial #347251. The Colt retains 50-70% original toned satin nickel finish which is peeling and drifting. The areas where the nickel has lifted show some light erosion, darkening, and pinprick pitting just starting. The markings are good and sharp, the edges are crisp, the nickel is completely unpolished as are the entire metal surfaces. The grips have been with the pistol a long time and are very aged, but were never a good fit. The action is good, bore is good, front sight is nearly its full height and has been trimmed just slightly at the top and shows its original shark-fin shape. Factory letter confirms finish and features along withshipment location. A good Texas-shipped Colt that is untouched. Est: $1,750 - $3,500
