Colt Single Action Army revolver, .38 Colt caliber, 7-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, hard-rubber grips, shipped to N. C. Longmire, Dec. 15th, 1928, to factory special order, #14912-25, one gun inshipment, with all features verified by letter except address of Longmire not listed. Serial #351953. The pistol remains in original near fine condition showing 90-95% blue on barrel, some slight scratches andminor aging just starting. The ejector rod housing shows 95% blue just drifting on its front edge. The cylinder shows 80-90% blue with some scratches, a slight index line, some beginning erosion and just normal aging. The frame shows 80-90% case hardening that is muting slightly with some light erosion, normal aging, and some very bright areas of rainbow colors. The backstrap and triggerguard show 80-90% thinning blue. Thegrips fit impeccably and are very good plus to near fine. The action is good, the bore is very good. A later Colt hammer is installed in the gun but an original and correct style 1928 hammer is included with the lot. An
