Colt Single Action Army revolver, .38-40 caliber, 5-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, hardrubber girps, serial #287837. Circa approx. 1906. The revolver remains in very good plus original conditionshowing 50-60% original blue and case hardening, evenly thinning and toning from holstering and handling. The markings are sharp, edges crisp, some areas of brilliant blue and case hardening. The grips show someeven wear. Action is crisp, bore very good. All matching visible serial numbers and correct parts. The front sight is its original configuration and height. Pistol is manufactured in the period where triggerguard is rounder.
