Colt SAA revolver, western style non-factory engraving, .45 cal., 5-1/2” barrel, nickel and gold wash re-finish, one piece ivory grips, #90837. This gun is in overall very good condition showing approx. 50% goldre-wash remaining with an old renickel beneath the wash; engraving is well-done, numbers have been redone, likely at time of engraving and re-finish, return to factory star on right rear trigger guard area; gripsare very good; contained in Modern French-lined wood presentation case; with factory letter showing shipment to Simmons Hardware Co. in St. Louis, MO on April 24, 1883.
