Colt SAA revolver, .44-40 cal., 5-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, checkered hard rubber grips, #210235 with factory letter confirming features (type of stocks “Not Listed), shipped to George Tritch Hardware Co., Denver, Colorado on May 24, 1901, four guns in shipment. This gun is in overall very good condition showing a grey/brown patina, left side of barrel marked “Colt Frontier Six Shooter”, good bore andaction, good markings, butt strap hand engraved “TWEED”; grips are good with right grip showing years of wear and handling by a right-handed owner; a Western-shipped Colt in a desirable caliber and barrel length.Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
