Colt SAA revolver, .38 WCF cal., 5-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, checkered black hard rubber grips, #222737; with tooled single loop leather holster marked “C.A.K.”. This gun is in overall goodcondition showing all matching visible numbers, good bore, crisp action, sharp markings, very good grips, traces of original blue in protected areas, balance of gun has been cleaned and displays a grey patina,replaced cylinder pin; factory letter confirms features except type of stocks “Not Listed”; shipped to Blish, Mize & Silliman Hardware Co., Atchison, Kansas on March 4, 1902, 10 guns in shipment. Holster is inoverall good condition showing thick harness leather construction and nice tooling. In 1902, Kansas was still experiencing activities of the old west including trail herding, freighting, ranching, etc.; a decent SAA with a great shipping destination. Est.: $1,500-$2,500.
