Colt SAA revolver, .38 W.C.F. cal., 5-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, checkered hard rubber grips, #301811 with interesting factory letter confirming caliber, barrel length and finish, stocks “Not Listed”, sold to Winchester Repeating Arms Co., New Haven, CT. and shipped to Strevell-Paterson Hardware Co., Salt Lake City, UT. on December 31, 1907 in a shipment of 2 guns. This Colt is in overall very good condition showing a grey patina to metal surfaces with scattered pinprick pitting and some areas of erosion, good bore, crisp action, good markings and very good grips; would be interesting to further research Strevell-Paterson Hardware and its association with Winchester during the 1907 time period. Est.: $1,400-$2,800.
