Colt SAA revolver, .32 W.C.F. cal., 7-1/2” barrel, blue finish, long flute cylinder, wood grips, #331347 with factory letter confirming caliber, barrel length, finish, stocks “Not Listed” and confirming long flute cylinder; shipped toFarwell, Ozmun, Kirk & Co., St. Paul, MN. On April 1, 1915, 1 gun in shipment with Remarks: records include another listing for the serial number indicating same specs except shipment to a Frank Foster, unavailable address on November 10, 1915,1 gun in shipment. This Colt is in overall very good to fine condition showing a quality old re-blue finish with pinprick pitting on the top strap and areas of the frame, crisp action, sharp markings, fine bore and very good grips. One could speculate that the factory letter is referencing the same gun if a Frank Foster can be found to have lived around St. Paul in 1915 as conceivably, the gun could have been ordered (1 gun shipment) thru Farwell et. al. by Foster on April 1 and then sent back to the factory for some reason by Foster after that time for work to be performed and returned to him on November 10; would be interesting to further research; at any rate; long flutes are hard-to-find and desirable by Colt
