Colt SAA Martially marked U.S. revolver, .45 cal., 7-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #115334 in overall fine condition showing the majority of its original blue finish on the barrel with some holster wear at themuzzle, majority of its original finish on the cylinder with a drag line, approx. 50% original finish on the ejector rod housing and approx. 30% original blue on the straps; the frame displays approx. 70% of its original case colors with somescattered spots of erosion and pinprick pitting; all matching visible numbers, D.F.C. inspected parts, crisp action, sharp markings, fine bore, very good + grips with D.F.C. inspection on bottom of left grip and D.F.C. cartouche on right gripand F.H., dated 1885on the left grip; accompanied by a factory letter dated June 21, 1994 confirming caliber and finish with barrel length and type of stocks “Not Listed”, sold to the U.S. Government and shipped on Sept. 16, 1885 in a group of 200same type guns.
