Colt Python .357 Magnum double action revolver with 6” barrel that is fully and finely gold inlaid and signed J. Barraclough who is a well-known southern California engraver. The revolver shows border scrolland flush line inlay with a scene of bear fishing for salmon on left side of frame. The right side of the frame shows a multicolor gold Eagle with high mountains in the background and the front right side of theframe shows flushed game bird. The pistol has been nicely refinished in a royal blue color at time of engraving. The model information and address is also flush gold inlaid. The pistol is fitted with a pair of replacementmedallion checkered wood grips. The hammer and trigger have been gold plated. The action is good and the bore is fine to excellent. The pistol shows virtually no use since restoration at time of engraving and inlay.Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
