Colt Police Positive DA revolver, .32 Police cal., 4” barrel, nickel finish, checkered wood medallion grips, #323810 in overall very good to near fine condition showing the majority of its original finish, very good bore, crisp action,very good markings, good grips, worn from carry, particularly on the right grip (as would be expected if carried by a right handed individual). Accompanied by a very interesting 13 page article and copy of notarized affidavit signed by ThomasMichael McGaffey entitled Dad and Dillinger, dated November 1, 2013 wherein Mr. McGaffey, in summary, relates an account his father told him of an incident that occurred sometime in late November, 1933, when as a police officer inMilwaukee, Wisconsin, he and his partner were in a “stake out” and beginning to wrap it up as the suspect had not shown up. His partner had returned to their vehicle with their two Winchester Model ’97 shotguns when the suspect and two other men“burst” into the room. Reportedly, Mr. McGaffey’s father drew this Colt, identifying himself as a police officer and was shot in the left arm and abdomen. He returned fire hitting one of the shooters and reported the third man in the room
