Colt Official Police DA revolver, .38 cal., 6” barrel, blue finish, checkered wood medallion grips, #592138, inscribed on right side of frame “Presented to Glenn From Capt. J.B. Fox 9-13-‘35”. This gun is in overall excellent condition showing approx. 97% original finish, fine bore, action, markings and grips. Glenn Wilson was the recipient of this gift from Los Angeles Sheriff’s Fugitive and Warrant Detail Captain J.B. Fox. Accompanying this lot is a framed color cartoon drawn by newspaper cartoonist E. Haskell dated June 1, 1933 of the members of the unit including Glenn who was a former Texas Ranger before coming to the LASD. Est.: $900-$1,800.
